When you support Garden City Community Cats Project, you are supporting caregivers like Carol. She is diligent about watching and caring for the cats in our community. She watches for any new cats that come into her colony needing to be fixed or cared for.
This has been evident several times in the past months.
We received a call from her, reporting there was a mother cat and four kittens in the area, and asking for traps. Again, she was successful at trapping three kittens and their momma. Together we had them trapped, transported, spayed, or neutered and returned.
Then a little later, Carol called about a friendly cat that had been shut in an office building overnight. This time we checked for a microchip and found that the cat’s name was Zinger and his previous owner seemed to have been transient with no relevant contact information available. We were able to use Garden City’s new resources with Idaho Humane Society to put Zinger up for adoption.
